A markdown file in a project, commonly named CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or .cursorrules, that gives an AI coding agent standing instructions: conventions, commands to run and things to avoid.
// The diagnosis
A letter to your agent, rewritten nightly. It starts as three polite bullet points. It ends as a legal document with a section called THINGS YOU HAVE DONE THAT I ASKED YOU NOT TO DO. It still does them.
