The practice of deliberately choosing what goes into a model's context (instructions, files, examples, tool results) so it has what it needs for the task and nothing that distracts it.

Prompt engineering, renamed after prompt engineering became embarrassing. Mostly involves writing very long markdown files, then deleting half of them, then writing them again.
